The Restrict Act may have severe implications for anyone accessing the Internet, and gives the U.S. federal government control to shut down any group of one million or more users online (8 min read.)
Might as well face it; the days of a free (sort of) and open internet are doomed. So many calls for internet censorship from governments around the world, especially here in the U.S, cannot long be ignored. Enjoy your "freedom" to say what you want to say while it lasts. Soon (too soon) the only information available on the internet will be that information curated for us by the CIA and the banking cartel's censorious minions.
I appreciate your thoughts. Many feel the same way. How about using such knowledge to find solutions toward preserving (or expanding) our online-based freedoms and personal privacy? What course of action by We, the People, would it take?
The short answer is decentralization, but you probably know that. Trouble is, I think, that we have been so carefully and thoroughly herded into centralized platforms that most will not know how to, or even care to, find decentralized platforms on which to exchange ideas. Mastadon comes to mind.
Anytime both of our political parties come together on any issue, it is almost always bad for the common person. The Uniparty in DC does not care about us at all.
I agree, we have to get more people to be aware of its existence, and the dangers involved with ignoring it. This is just another thinly disguised attack on free speech by government.
😂 You made me flash back to Louis Black, "Back in Black on Broadway". A hilarious show on water, milk, politics, etc. A little vulgar, but hillarious! Paraphrasing, " A Republican comes up with a bad idea. Then the Democrat says "and I can make it sh**ier!" And when both these pr***s get together, we are really screwed."
Good analysis of what this really stands for, but I would also add that our gov’t has shown us over the last three years that they have engaged in exactly that type of activity on Americans, this bill would simply allow them to do it legally
The broad and vague language in the RESTRICT Act is concerning enough, and yes, it might simply allow our gov’t to engage in group or individual censorship legally. In fact, the perceived threat of civil or criminal penalties might be enough to induce self-censorship and self-banning or exclusion.
Too true. When Congress passes legislation now, it's mostly for show. Unelected deep state officials create most of the laws. That's illegal of course. The very first article of the very first section of the U.S. Constitution gives Congress, and only Congress, the power to create laws. It was never repealed. It is simply ignored.
If the laws that govern us are are not created by people we elected, do we have a representative form of government?
Thank you for commenting. You've raised excellent points.
What is the solution towards preserving, conserving and abiding by the U.S. Constitution? What can be done to clarify to the government that We, the People, want to maintain our right to online freedom and personal privacy?
It's just another totalitarian enactment in an increasing list of totalitarian enactments that our current totalitarian regime seeks to impose on the American people... When will this type of totalitarian behavior stop you might ask... Only when the American people make it stop.
Thank you for commenting! Indeed, it appears that the Uniparty emerges and reveals its true colors with respect to censorship and banning, albeit for different reasons. Let us hear and understand the wise lessons of the U.S. Constitution that our Founders left for our discovery.
I do not believe anything can stop it from passing. Reds and Blues both love it. Only our corrupt judicial system might decide to call it unconstitutional, but don't hold your breath.
Thank you for commenting. I hear you loud and clear. Many people relate to your sentiments. How about asking ourselves what course of action We, the People, can take to preserve our rights to online (& offline) freedom and personal privacy?
Thank you for your feedback. You're asking the crucial, million-dollar question.
How do We, the People, ensure our government preserves our freedoms & personal privacy both online and offline?
We might want to start with grassroots (arguably bipartisan) campaigns to raise public awareness about Senate Bill 686, and the need to protect our natural rights.
At the risk of introducing what might be "too much reality," here goes:
Broadly speaking, people are caught-up and lost in distractions, lost in apathy, in a state of disbelief/denial... Unaware that our survival as human beings now comes down to a race... The agenda of the faceless cabal is set to bring the hammer down on any remaining thread of freedom before anybody realizes what hits them!
The docile "frogs" (the trusting citizens) have been on slow boil for decades, unaware of the intentions to boil them alive. The evidence of the government bioweapons and genocide is right in front of everyone's faces. The level of complacency among the citizens is off the charts.
There is NO conventional approach to stopping this that could possibly work. It'll fall flat for the solid reasons mentioned above. People will need to be jolted to attention to break through the barriers that have been conditioned throughout their entire lives.
"It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled." Whether that's from Twain or not, it holds true.
Big Brother marching on. Excellent essay. If you recall, regarding the Patriot Act powers which regarded terrorism, they were expanded concerning drugs, where the feds don't have to get search warrants and could do a raid on just suspicion. People were coming home, and still are, finding their homes trashed. Call the local police and are told that it was the feds, they gave us a heads up.
I think THAT question, is the question of questions, politically-speaking, in these present days & times.
Without being fatalistic, it seems the country, is in a standstill, & we citizens are simply studying, the present overwhelming institutionalized corruption, within many, if not most bodies of government.
Perhaps, it has grown uncomfortably too humongous.
This largeness affords too many opportunities for unchecked integrity.
I really appreciate Truth Social,However the FCC is holding back Trump from expanding the platform! I want China out of this Country. NO investing in our farmland,Pork farms(Smithfield)also using MRNA vaccines on animals,Confushious schools,JROTC, Police Stations; They killed innocent people with their biological weapons.Cancell any debt the USA has and Get the Hell OUT of USA!
I think we are aiming for the same end result here, a stop to corruption.
Offering a lens to extend what I hear you saying... The CCP, or the faceless cabal, is so deeply embedded within the government, politicians of the entire uniparty including all corrupt government agencies you might call it an infestation. One that has cannot be be exterminated by any conventional political process. The hooks are in so deep and in so many layers. e.g. The Pfizer documents they tried to bury for 75 years. Why? Check out Naomi Wolf's presentation & results... It's genocide with known bioweapon orchestrated to the degree that makes Hitler look like a boy scout. There are no words for the scale of corruption. 100% proof, no conspiracy theories, only conspiracy facts.
How that pertains to the RESTRICT act here? It will completely eliminate our ability to even communicate such ideas as we are doing right this moment. "legalizing" the end of freedom in the United States. The clock is ticking, folks. All this chit-chat is so fun, but what we gonna do?
I see that the CIA mind control program has found another victim. (you). Anything they do (China) is being done harder by the USA against it's own people. P.S. Here is only tiny example: Bill Gates owns more American farmland than China. Cheers!
Great post, the RESTRICT Act is a very worrying and concerning bill. And Mark Warner is among the deepest of the swamp creatures in government...
Thank you for commenting. Indeed, we also learn where the Uniparty emerges.

Thank you for commenting. It is fascinating to know which issues the Uniparty openly emerges and shows its true colors.

That was good and painfully true. Sometimes humor is a great Segway to the truth.

I agree with "only when the American people make it stop."
The question is what is the pathway towards achieving this goal?
I'll tell you my belief in what that pathway won't be... and that is that it certainly won't be by means of the ballot box.
Does it seem like some "Republicans" are actually Democrats in Republican clothing?
Thank you for commenting! Indeed, it appears that the Uniparty emerges and reveals its true colors with respect to censorship and banning, albeit for different reasons. Let us hear and understand the wise lessons of the U.S. Constitution that our Founders left for our discovery.
Excellent, detailed explanation of the deranged Restrict Act.
Thank you, DROA.
You're welcome! Thank you for your feedback.
I have yet to see a timeline of how this proceeds. What can be done now to ensure it does not succeed?
I do not believe anything can stop it from passing. Reds and Blues both love it. Only our corrupt judicial system might decide to call it unconstitutional, but don't hold your breath.

"People will need to be jolted to attention to break through the barriers that have been conditioned throughout their entire lives."
Thank you for this and as well for favorably noting some of my comments here and there.
Thanks. The walls are ever closing in & closing down the freedom of an individual's choice.

I guess we need to ask the founding freemasons.
No doubt, this is an excellent informative newsletter, these are important issues to think about. Thank you...
